It’s hard to be perfect, and it took me so long to figure out you can’t be perfect, but there are ways to succeed. It takes time, but once you are doing the things you love, and succeeding at school or work, it’s fun. Like how I started this blog, I was struggling at school with trying to perfect, that somehow I completely slipped up. I needed to do something that I enjoy like writing, so I worked really hard on getting my grades back up from a 85 to a 95 and it worked! That is why my first trick is doing the things you love, that would not be electronics.
My second trick is lists. I absolutely love lists! So after school in the car I come up with lists of things I have to do when I get home. Normally the list is, grab a snack and some water, change out of uniform into comfy sweats, and start my homework. The reason I love lists so much is because when I am done with something I can check it off, it is so nice to know you are done with something, it may not be, “I finished school and got high honors, now it summer break!” But is still feels calming. Lists also help you with staying ordered.
My third trick is, when you come home don’t start working again right away. I mean you just had about eight hours of work why start again, It is way to much stress! I am definitely not saying you shouldn’t do your homework, what I am saying is give yourself a 15 minute break when you come home. Eat a snack, read a book, build with blocks, as long as you don’t go on electronics, that will cause you to stay on electronics, and then when you have to do your homework you can get really stressed out.
My fourth trick is, stay calm. It is not going to help if you are hyped up or stressed when you are working or at school, or doing your homework. When you are stressed you have to find ways to be calm, which will be in my next blog post, so remember to stay updated because I try to post daily.
Also remember you are not going to succeed without working, you have to work for everything.
